Let’s Talk Make-Up and African beauty

I’m a tomboy at heart, and for me make-up has always been about applying lip liner, lipstick and eye-liner just to enhance my look. My colleagues on the other hand are full-on make up gals that go all the way daily. Some days they look really good to me and some days I really wonder if they have applied their make-up the right way. This increased my curiosity around the subject and I found myself viewing YouTube videos on how to apply make-up. I also went to IG, to check out the work of our local make-up artists, and this is what I found

I can see the contouring on the noses, and I’m wondering if this is how it’s supposed to be? I also wondered, for what occasions would make up like this be suitable. Would this be good for everyday going to the office?
Then there was this……

I found the make-up to be soo dramatic and over the top, or maybe it matched the occasion it was made for. I would definitely not even try this for the office.
04
Everyone seems to be having the same eyebrow shape or is it the way eyebrows are being filled?
I guess because I’m a minimalist type of person, and I’m only starting out…….I liked this one below
05
I think it’s nicely done and would even be suitable for the office.

I also liked this for an event or something like that, and I think that it’s something that I can try and do myself. Lol, no disrespect to the make-up artists in the house.

07
Here is another look I liked. It stands out but it’s not over the top.

But how beautiful is Riri’s face beat, I could look at this all day.

Lol, I still remember Shycandi saying the first step to make-up is buying brushes. I’ve bought a beautiful set and can’t wait to start using them. Please feel free to give me your make-up tips bahlali.
